New cross border service AC7 by Advance Coach

Advance Coach has launched its first cross-border service AC7 on 17th Dec 2010, plying between Yishun Interchange in Singapore and Kota Raya II Terminal in Johore Bahru.
A poster and an arrow guiding you to the berth ^^
This is part of a Singapore & Malaysia agreement to increase transit links between both countries in May, with this being the third service introduced out of eight services agreed. The first two are introduced in September 2010 and operated by Transtar, with the routes plying between RWS and Changi Airport to Johore.

The service will stop at all stops on the route it plies.

It charges a flat fare of SGD $2 when boarding in Singapore or paying by ezlink card. For those boarding at Malaysia, RM $2 will be charged instead.

The boarding point is at Berth B5 near the Passenger Service Centre, with the frequency roughly around 30 minutes.
Expect more cross border routes to be introduced soon!

  1. AC 7 will be better received and can be sustained if the route excludes the latter portion stops from Woodlands MRT. The stretch from Woodlands MRT to Checkpoint is unnecessary as the flat fee of $2 is not attractive to paasengers boarding there as cheaper and quicker alternatives (eg 950, 170) are available. Focus on the Yishun to Admiralty route and then direct to Woodlands checkpoint. Subsequently increase frequency to 15 mins interval during peak hours, weekends and school holidays for more biz.
    Best Wishes, Mrs Tan
    Thank you.

  2. Bus services AC7 very bad experience for me...I pay but I get abandon by Bus AC7 at Singapore Custom + Get Accuse by the AC7 bus driver not the passenger bus AC7 frm Yishun

    My Story:
Today I have to wait more than 30 minutes before board the bus AC7 at Yishun then pay using EZ Link card to tap for SGD 2 dollar but when I reach Singapore Custom we need to get down to scan our passport

Then when i want to board back the AC7 bus there a lot of people wanted to board the bus so the bus driver AC7 give priority to the passenger board frm Yishun then the bus driver AC7 was not allow me to board due to no ticket..and even accuse me not the passenger frm Yishun + i pay by EZ link card(Do pay by EZ link card will have ticket?)

..As i know SGD 2 dollar is the fee fare from Yishun to Kotaraya but i get abandon in Singapore Custom and get accuse not the passenger AC7 board frm Yishun, at the end I unable to board the bus....I dont get services what i pay and get accuse

  3. I agree with Mrs Tan. AC7 should just stop at Sembawang MRT & Admiralty MRT, then direct to Woodlands checkpoint.

    Mr Dick Tan

  4. Took the bus from JB custom...quite smooth..It is not crowded and non-stop from check point till reach Sembawang.
I guess ppl travel to Woodland will take 950 so only ppl staying in Sembawang and yishun will take this bus..
in order words, the sembawang could be the "first" stop from Woodland checkpoint.

    1. Is there any form of contact via email? or just having this hotline :67483300?? I wanted to lodge a complaint against the bus conductor who stationed in JB custom...he is not trained as a service provider...does he don't even know how to say excuse me? I was being slapped by him this evening at 8.20pm 30 Sep..while I am taking the bus no. PC40D, just because he think he is big like god...wearing AC7 uniform and expected everyone know he is the staff of AC7...REALLY SHAME ON HIM...He pushed me aside just wanted to get in to the bus and tell people to move in..while i just said he can be polite by saying excuse me..he started to get agitated and slapped me...He should be fired just because of this..Furthermore, this same conductor is not the 1st time hitting people..as there was a Malay lady in the same bus saying that her husband was being hit by him two days ago...I hope the MD of AC7 Mr Neo Tiam Beng is looking into such incident & take the necessary action towards this matter....or else I am going to report to Police.

  6. the bus drivers are not that good. on last Tuesday when i took the BUS from JB ciq around 8.12pm, the bus driver confront us for not waiting at the Bus bay but there was no one inside the bus for abt 10mint. All the passengers start making noise towards the Bus driver. He even went to pump Diesel with passengers onboard and running engine. Normally we will only take 10 mint to reach Kotaraya II from JB CIQ but on tuesday it took me half an hour. Haiz..
